What is 18/8 Stainless Steel?

Pachamama water bottles are constructed from high-quality, 18/8, food-grade stainless steel. The numbers stand for the percentages of chromium and nickel in the steel, 18% and 8% respectively. Chromium increases the metal’s hardness and nickel gives it strength. Together they also make stainless steel highly resistant to stain or rust.

Stainless steel is easy to clean, durable, inert and sanitary. That’s why it’s the material of choice among the food processing, dairy and brewing industries.’

Can I put hot water in my water bottle?

Pachamama eco-friendly stainless steel bottles are intended for COLD BEVERAGES.

How do I clean and care for bottles?

We recommend washing the bottle by hand, using a solution of warm water and a little vinegar or baking soda. Please note the following facts about the bottles:

  • Don’t forget to wash the bottle thoroughly with soap and warm water before first use.
  • For consumable liquids only.
  • PLEASE DO NOT MICROWAVE!
  • For tropical climates only: When washing, avoid immersing the bamboo part of the lid in water; instead clean with rubbing alcohol.
  • Take care when filling the bottle with carbonated beverages as it can build up pressure when sealed.
  • Do not drop the bottle on hard surfaces, especially when full.
  • Be mindful of significant changes in pressure within your bottle (i.e. freezing or heating when it contains liquid, transporting to higher or lower altitudes while sealed, etc.), which might cause it to rupture or leak.
What types of payments do you accept?

We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

What is your return policy?

(1) We gladly accept returns for any reason within 30 days from shipping date. Shipping charges are not reimbursed.

 

(2) Please send an email with your order number and your return reasons prior to sending at  returns(at)pachamamasoul.com. After written approval for return from customer service, please return the product to the address displayed on the delivery note.

 

(3) We will control all returned products. All goods must be returned in perfect condition along with a copy of your initial invoice/delivery note with its original package without signs of usage. You have to pay the postal fees for this kind of return. We will dismiss the returned product if:

 

– The product shows signs of visible use

– The product returns without original packaging and/or product tags

– The product is damaged as a result of return transport

 

We reimburse your payment (Duties, taxes and other expenses excluded). In case of return, you will be charged for all shipping charges.

 

(4) If the product is in any way faulty or does not conform to the order placed, we will gladly refund the purchase price paid, the return shipping cost; any customs, duties and goods taxes (upon proof of payment i.e. a receipt), plus the original shipping costs. Likewise, no good will be taken back if it shows signs of damage or interference, such as:

 

– Scratches, dents and dirt

– Events out of our control e.g. natural disasters

– Signs of improper use
- Interference by the customer or a third person

– Extreme use or extreme influence by the customer

 

The items can be sent to address displayed on the delivery note.

All refunds will be issued based upon the original form of payment.

(5) No cost will be covered should the product/s go missing during the return shipping. We advise you to send all items back with a transport company which provides a track & trace service.
